What is a "Kid Talk"

A Kid Talk is a 15 minute presentation the students put together themselves. The topic can be anything they choose that is age appropriate for a group of 4-9 year olds. Examples would be bullying..emotions..fitness..healthy eating.

Kid talks are intended to be fun and engaging for the children. Many students in the past have used puppets or costumes in their presentations.

Once a student has completed at least 3 kid talks (can be the same subject matter) they submit a report and a presentation to the judging panel.
The panel is made up of other teens but neatness and grammar still count!

From there a provincial winner and a runner up are chosen.
